Our journey to innovative education
Cypress Innovation Academy was born from the desire of homeschooling families to offer a more comprehensive and distinctive educational path for our community. We envisioned a Christ-centered private school dedicated to cultivating well-rounded critical thinkers. Our aim is to ignite a love for learning, encouraging students to question the world with curiosity, and empowering them to excel emotionally, socially, and educationally. We believe in providing a holistic approach that goes beyond traditional schooling.

Meet our dedicated founders
Lola Russell is the visionary founder and Chief Administrator of Cypress Innovation Academy, bringing her 18 years of homeschooling experience to life in this institution. She also serves as the registered nurse on staff, ensuring the well-being of our students. Kristi Lane is our administrative coordinator and a valued teacher, with 6 years of preschool and daycare experience, coupled with extensive EDU courses and three years of homeschooling her own daughters. Our shared passion is to serve our families and communities, embodying the hands and feet of Jesus to support every student and family enrolled.
